The 3ME3 V2 series uses MLC NAND with a DRAM-less design, iData Guard, S.M.A.R.T., and Pin 8 power so the module can run from the SATA connector on compatible boards. It is intended as a boot drive or compact storage device, not as a high-write cache drive.
