This part is a working pull. It has been tested by a qualified technician. This is Sun Oracle F40 400GB SSD application accelerator has been reflashed with latest LSI NWD-BLP4-400 firmware and will be recognized by your system as a fully functional LSI NWD-BLP4-400 Nytro WarpDrive 400GB SSD accelerator card. Your system will detect it as a LSI controller with 1x single 400GB SSD drive and you will be able to configure it as a bootable device. Note if you would purchase this card with Sun firmware from other vendors you will not be able to boot from the drive and it would be detected as 4x 100GB SSDs.

This card does get hot so please make sure you have proper airflow in your system. We have tested it with HP Proliant DL560 G8 server and it was able to maintain proper airflow and was recongnized as bootable device which we were able to install Windows Server 2012 on. Please check pictures for CrystalDiskMark performance numbers.

You will receive this part as pictured. The card comes with SFF small form factor mounting bracket attached. A spare full size mounting bracket is included.
