The Sony HKSR-5803HQ Advanced HQ Processor Board is an optional accessory board for the SRW-5800 VTR. When installed, it offers the ability to record and play back uncompressed 4:4:4 full bandwidth signals in both SQ (BRR 4:1) and HQ (BRR 2:1) modes. Additionally, it enables the SRW-5800 to record 4:2:2 1080/60P and 1080/50P signals utilizing an 880Mbps dual-speed recording mode. It provides superb functionality with 2x speed transfer of video, audio and timecode to a specified server in 1080 29.97PsF/59.94i, 25P/50i, 23.98/24PsF and 720 50/59.94P via the dual link HD-SDI connections (in 880Mbps mode) on the deck.

Moreover, the Sony HKSR-5803HQ offers the ability to play back 3D tapes previously recorded by the SRW-5800 or SRW-1 (HD Portable Digital Recorder). This board intrinsically meets the high demands of high-profile video operations often required by HDCAM/HDCAM SR studios, compositing suites, and digital mobile units.
