The Supermicro MegaRAID AOC-S3108L-H8iR-16DD features 8 internal SAS connectors for high-performance storage connectivity. Built on Broadcom SAS IC and proven MegaRAID technology, it meets the demand for increased data throughput and scalability in enterprise-class server platforms. It supports advanced RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60), making it ideal for high-capacity storage applications. The card offers cost-effective solutions with SATA drives and maximum performance with SAS drives.

This unit includes the BTR-TFM8G-LSICVM02 CacheVault module (Tacate PowerBurst TPL LSI 49571-13 Rev A 13.5V 6.4F Cache Battery with bracket) for cached data protection, ensuring data integrity during system failures (operating temperature: 10C to 55C). Powered by a Broadcom 3108 I/O processor and a PCI Express 3.0 host interface, it delivers optimal RAID performance and increased bandwidth for robust storage solutions.

The AOC-S3108L-H8iR-16DD supports up to 16 HDDs with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. With expander backplanes, the AOC-S3108L-H8iR supports up to 240 HDDs with the same RAID levels. This product is compatible with Supermicro motherboards only and available exclusively through Supermicro. Note: X9 motherboards are end-of-life and require firmware versions 4.6800-8290 or older.
